Warehouse Hours: Monday – Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Job Description:
The Shipping Supervisor oversees the operation of the Shipping Department. They supervise a crew ranging from 10-15 employees, ensuring that the staff follows GMP and safety policies to ship high-quality food products. The incumbent works closely with the Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, and Vice President of Operations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and training for staff at each job station. Train employees on proper working ergonomics in addition to their assigned tasks and specific techniques. Set an example for the department staff in work ethic, safety protocol and attitude. Monitor attendance schedule of staff using attendance sheets provided by VP of Operation.
- Maintain thorough documentation of Quality Assurance related paperwork, including but not limited to facility temperature log, daily log, and inspection logs. Communicate with the Quality Department to take immediate action when necessary to provide a safe product.
- Conduct a thorough and accurate tally of products, as well as double-checking through the Inventory Management System. Work with custom software to access and utilize the scanner system.
- Communicate with carriers to ensure smooth shipment and receipt of containers. Create Bill of Lading, seal stickers, and ship orders.
- Regular and effective communication with all departments to maintain and efficient flow of production. Take corrective action to address mechanical issues or safety hazards with the Production Manager and VP of Operations. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements and Conditions:
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree is required. Must be familiar with computers, especially a warehousing computer system. Warehouse supervisor e/o management: 2 years
- May involve working inside cooler and lifting 85-pound boxes if necessary.

Job Description:
The Production Warehouse is a F/T or P/t position responsible for packing olives; slicing, wrapping, weighing meats and cheeses; as well as picking, filling, and completing orders.
Requirements and Conditions:

- Ability to understand all math aspects for shipping and receiving and scan to the computer

Job Description:
The Warehouse Staff w/Deli Experience is responsible for slicing weighing, wrapping, packing cheeses and meats. Excellent personality, communication, and math skills.
Requirements and Conditions:
- Ability to comprehend and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation. Candidate needs to ensure that work areas are ready for the next shift. Will clean and prepare workstations; equipment, floors, walls etc. Ensuring that all are removing trash, and confirming that tools are in working order. Other responsibilities are to be assigned.
- Cooperating with others warehouse associates and ensure supervisor’s inspection satisfaction.
- Prior experience working in the meat and deli department is required
- Previous experience in operate equipment, such as automatic and hand meat and cheese slicers, wrapping machines, vacuum pack machines and scales
- Work includes walking, standing for prolonged periods, moving pallets, and have the ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 50 lbs., etc.
- Duties are performed primarily in the coolers, Candidate is exposed to various temperature changes and work environments
- High School diploma or equivalent. Able to perform simple math problems, able to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems
Job Description:
The Order Picker/Filler is responsible for picking, filling and completing orders. Accurately pick orders and deliver them to the delivery platform in a manner that meets company standards for safety, security, and productivity through the use of scanners, adding machines, computers with company software, pallet jacks, forklifts, and pallet wrapping machine prior to shipping order. Repack and weigh any orders that require such handling when necessary. Report quality variances. Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Conduct physical inventories as required.

Job Description:
- Works closely with all departments to maintain an efficient flow of production especially with the Warehouse Manager, Production Manager, Vice President of Operations, and Food Safety/Quality Manager
- Performing ongoing facility maintenance and completing repairs on equipment & machinery to maintain a fully operating facility
- Following and completing the company’s schedule of routine repairs and inspection sheets
- Following and completing the company’s sanitation schedule for coolers, equipment, production rooms, and warehouse
- Applying preventive measures to the building to reduce the risk of future problems, such as looking for roof leaks during a storm
- Fixing potential safety hazards to avoid injuries
- Painting equipment when old paint has faded or chipped
- Liaison with the company’s pest management contractor
- Assisting with the installation of new equipment and oversee building upgrades according to the owner requests
- Ability to walk, stand, move pallets and/or equipment using various machines.
- Ability to lift heavy items, ranging from 25 to 85lbs., if needed.
- Work includes exposure to various temperature changes and work environments, duties are performed in climate-controlled area, coolers, freezer if needed.
- Additional responsibilities will be assigned, including: keep floors clean using a scrub machine, keep all coolers clean, prepare all items for recycling, garbage, etc.

- Must have a minimum of 2 years maintenance experience and strong work history
Skills and Qualifications:
- Plumbing knowledge to address leaks, clogs, or other drainage problems
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs around the building
- Grounds keeping of property
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
- Great time management to coordinate maintenance tasks in the most efficient manner possible.
- Physical stamina to handle the full shift of being active and working throughout the building
- HVAC certification is a plus to maintain, repair, and clean ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- OSHA Compliant forklift certification is a plus
OFFICE POSITIONS

Job Description:
The Food Safety Assistant provides food safety expertise throughout daily tasks within our food facility.
Responsibilities:
- Perform Food Safety Plan verification and validation activities that comply with FDA, USDA, FSMA, and HACCP regulations.
- Coordinate environmental monitoring program: track, verify, and validate results.
- Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures ensuring compliance with GMP, USDA, FDA, and SQF requirements.
- Establish and maintain facility’s sanitation program including detailed written procedures for the cleaning of all processing equipment and facilities.
- Assist with Regulatory audits, 3rd party inspections, etc.
- Assist in preparation for SQF audit
Requirements and Conditions:
- Education: BS in Food Science or other related degree that requires experience in the food industry.
- 2-4 years of experience in a food safety/quality position is desired
- Experience working under regulatory systems (FDA, USDA, HACCP)
- HACCP/PCQI certification desired
- Must possess strong interpersonal skills along with verbal and written communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft software (word, excel, etc.)
- Individual must be strong in detail orientation and self-motivated
Physical Demands:
- Some duties are performed in a cool temperature, other temperature changes depending on the work for the day.
- Must have the ability to perform physical job duties, which may include walking, bending, standing for prolonged periods, sitting, kneeling, lifting up to 25 lbs., and exposure to moderate/loud noise levels.
